The planner in me!

So, it's official! I have started my own playgroup, along with my friend Michelle! I'm so happy for this, as I was not satisfied with the two groups I belonged to. The girls and I are always bored sitting around! I have always been a bit of a busy body and I don't let 2 little ones slow me down!

I remember when I first told my mom I was pregnant with child #1...she said, "well, you're life will have to slow down with a little one." And it did for a little while, b/c we didn't have much time away from work or any money to go do anything. However, since I've been a stay at home mom I have found tons of things to do that are free! I never knew the world was so large with free things still in today's age!

So, by starting my own playgroup...I get to plan what's going on, I get to schedule what's happening when...so pretty much...I have control! HA HA HA!!!!!!! No really the other 2 groups combined were not creating enough stuff for the girls and I to keep busy...so with this group I intend to integrate the entire family (older kids and husbands) into the monthly activities. I intend to have some playgroup offered everyday, weather pending, along with monthly mom's only nights, family dinners, and a weekend family outing (like camping or going somewhere family oriented). I hate when I do all this stuff and I talk about all these new people I've met and Michael doesn't know who I'm talking about, so this will give him a chance to meet other men around the area and our men to spend time with us as a family!

So, as a planner, I get to do the one thing I love to do: plan events for other people that I get to attend and participate in! I hope it goes over well, but I don't have any doubts b/c  already 31 mom's have joined and it doesn't even start until June 1! YAY!

Prayers would be appreciated for a strong group of close women to make great long-lasting friends!
